The Charleston Yacht Club is a member of the South Atlantic Yacht Racing Association and US Sailing Association and sponsors such events as US Sailing Association quarter and semifinal championships.
It has also hosted several national championships including the Mallory National Championship, Y-Flyer Nationals and Sunfish North Americans.
Many of our members have dual memberships with other community sailing and boating associations. The Cruising Club of Charleston and the Charleston Ocean Racing Association are dedicated to promoting the joy of cruising and sailing locally.
In addition, we extend reciprocal privileges to Yacht Club members that allow the same privileges as our members.
